Depress the clamping tool gripping lever and guide the band through the side-slot of the clamping tool nose and gripping block.
Ensure that the cutter lever is flush against the clamping tool during this step.
Tension the stainless steel strapping by turning the clamping tool handle as shown. Maximum tension has been applied when the band no longer slides through the buckle-bridge.
Fold over 90 degrees, release tension by half-a-turn. Roll the clamping tool over the buckle and pull the cutting lever to remove the excess banding.
Remove the clamping tool while pushing down on the stub of the stainless steel band between the buckles-ears.
Hammer the buckle-ears down and over the stub to lock the clamp in place. This step completes the stainless steel clamp application.
