Forming a clamp

Stainless Steel Banding and BuckleMeasure and cut (using the built-in cutter of the clamping tool) a length of stainless steel strap to suit the clamping requirement. As a guide, a single-wrapped clamp usually measures 3 1/2 times and a double-wrapped application 7 times the diameter of the combined objects to be clamped.

Add an additional 125mm to 180mm (5″ - 7″), depending on the application, to allow for locking and clamping tool operation.
